Charity concert to benefit Mustard Seed School

SACRAMENTO – A charity concert and silent auction to benefit the Mustard Seed School was held on Saturday, Jan. 8 at the California Stage located at 1723 25th Street.  The event was planned by Cary Farley, who’s a local musician and schoolteacher.  Farley wanted to give back to the community by planning this event, where he also launched his new CD.

"I wanted to launch my new CD, Goodnight in a way where I could give back to the community at the same time,” said Cary Farley, Musician and Health Instructor at Luther Burbank HS. “What deeply amazes me is the incredible support I have received from the community from the silent auction donations to the beverages and desserts donated by the Naked Lounge.”

Mustard Seed School is a free private school for homeless children aged 3 to 15.  It provides educational assessments, medical and dental screening and counseling services.
