SACRAMENTO, CA- A storm on Saturn the Cassini spacecraft has been tracking since last December is visible from Earth from even telescopes of modest size.

Casual observers at a regional observatory noticed the storm last Thursday, according to Sacramento City College Professor of Astronomy Liam McDade.

The Sacramento City College Observatory will let the public track Saturn and possibly view the storm every Friday this July. The observatory will be open to the public on July 8, 15, 22, and 29 starting at 9:30 pm.
