Dog thrown in dumpster to die is now up for adoption at city animal shelter

Callie was thrown in a grocery store dumpster at the corner of Stockton Blvd. and Fruitridge Rd.  A city animal control officer pulled her out of the trash bin and brought her to the shelter at 2127 Front St.  She'd recently had a litter of puppies, but they weren't with her.  She is now up for adoption, and she is looking for a loving forever home.

Pet of the Week- Daphne

Pet of the Week- Daphne

Have you met Daphne?

Would you like to?!

Daphne is an outgoing and energetic two-year-old American Staffy mix who loves to walk and play! Her happy personality is addiciting, and brings a smile to the faces of everyone she meets! Daphne is looking for a family who loves to go on walks just as much as she does. Daphne is affectionate and bright, and walks well on a leash and knows how to sit when asked.

She will do best in a somewhat active home with adults and older children who would love to walk and play with her. A little training would help her focus her energy and learn even more commands. Daphne will make a great addition to your family- come pay her a visit today!

Adoption Fee: $100 (includes updated vaccines, micro chip, spay/neuter and lots of TLC during their stay here!)
