Photo Gallery | Tribal ConnecZion, new local dance studio coming to Elk Grove, CA

ELK GROVE, CA: Two local families come together to create a business by the name of Tribal ConnecZion. Where connecting Music, Arts, Culture and Dance merge in one roof, and this dance studio show cases artwork from local artists while offers various dance classes and will also be incorporating music and video production.

Tribal ConnecZion seeks to contribute to a dynamic and evolving culture by supporting the creation, development, and production of new works by emerging artists. The studio will be offering professional dance instruction for all ages and skill levels with weekly classes being offered in Hip-Hop, Tahitian (Hawaiian dance) and more.  There are classes for children as young as 4 years old, all the way up through adult. Tribal ConnecZion strives to provide a fun and encouraging learning environment to celebrate everyone’s natural ability to move in an expressive way and enable students to develop their own ideas and expressive styles.

A grand opening will be held on Saturday, May 11th, 2013, from 2pm to 8pm. Community leaders such as Paul Galindo and Steve Ly will be speaking at this event, Mayor Gary Davis will be cutting the red ribbon. This is a free event which will include food trucks , local vendors,  live performances, such as: Polynesia Hula and Tahitian dancers, Makamae Melia O', HAKA from Franklin HS; local hip hop dance crews: The Goodfellas, Wiseguys, Pressplay; Singers: Big Toko, Valua Fa, Samu and more! Additionally, since it is on the weekend of Mother’s Day, they have also added raffle prizes and give-aways for facials, massage and wax certificates. Mothers and their families will surely be entertained, eat well and be happy!

Located on 10464 Franklin Boulevard, the older side of Franklin Road, this studio hopes to bring life and revival to the surrounding area of Old Town Franklin.
