The 24th Annual Victims March on the Capitol held April 23 honored victims of crime as the family members and friends filled the Capitol with posters of their loved ones. 

As the presentation of Color/Honor Guard, officers from CSP California proceeded to the West Capitol Steps, and Geraldine S. Muniz, mother, carried the flag, that which had been flown over our Nation’s Capitol in memory of Jerome Joseph Muniz.    

Deputy Senior Chaplain Frank Russell, Law Enforcement Chaplaincy-Sacramento, gave an Invocation and with everyone in prayer for those who lost their lives as a victim of crime, tears were silently shed. 

Guest Speakers included the Honorable Jerry Brown, California State Governor as well as Harriet C. Salarno, Chair, Crime Victims United, Anne Marie Schubert, Supervising Deputy DA, Sacramento County, Mike Reynolds ~ 3 strikes ~ Marc Klass, Polly Klass’ father and founder of Klass Kids, Jack Reilly, Victim.

Law Enforcement Chaplaincy-Sacramento Law Enforcement and Community Chaplains were there to support those in need this day.
