Photo Gallery | Paramedic brings Christmas gifts to burn victims

SACRAMENTO, CA - Burn victims of last Wednesday's Portola fire were revisited by their air transport paramedic Saturday, who went to Shriners Hospital for Children and UC Davis Medical Center to give them Christmas gifts.

American Medflight paramedic Will Goodrich was so moved by the victims and their families that he decided to raise money for Christmas gifts for them.

He purchased gifts from over $2000 worth of contributions that he raised with excess contributions being donated to the Barclay Family Fund.

Saturday afternoon Goodrich and American Medflight pilot Jim Lamont flew from Reno to Sacramento to distribute the gifts.

Lamont was contributing his time and American Medflight, Inc was contributing the aircraft for the holiday delivery.
